Merle Irene Ashwin passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at Mission Memorial Hospital, at the age of 90 years. Merle was predeceased by her husband Edwin Floyd Ashwin, brother Reuben Thompson, and parents Ida and Roy Thompson. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Harley Ashwin, step-daughter Joan Kissinger, sisters Ethel Glover and Ruby Armitage, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and longtime companion Dave Bigg.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 6, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Mission Funeral Home, 7386 Horne Street, Mission, BC
