Died peacefully, surrounded by his family, a proud father, enthusiastic grandpa and devoted physician (ret'd). Known for his generous heart, and gregarious spirit, Dr. Brear was a passionate prolife advocate. Mike was an active out-doors man, avid reader and found great pleasure in his garden. Mike filled his home with Canadian works of art, music and his favourite books, but-most of all he loved it when his home was filled with his wife Liz, 8 children, 18 grandchildren and sons and daughters-in-law. Mike is also survived by family in England. Mike's strong faith was evident in every aspect of his life. If friends so desire memorial tributes may be made to the Westbrook Educational Fund or the White Rock Hospice Society. Prayers to be held Thursday March 4, at 7PM at the Church of the Good Shepherd. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 5th at 11 AM at the Church of the Good Shepherd 2250-150th Street, Surrey.
