It is with a heavy heart I announce the passing of Michael John Schafer on January 12, 2016. He is sadly missed by his loving wife Linda; sisters Cathy (Les) Allen and Liz (Andy) Blackmore and his brother Dave (Jane) Schafer as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mike is predeceased by his parents John and Betty Schafer and his youngest brother Bobby. He lived his life with zest. His family, golf and flying were his passions, though not necessarily in that order! A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please honor Mike's memory with a donation to the charity of your choice.
