WINDEBANK; Muriel. Passed away on June 17, 2014 at the age of 90 in Mission Memorial Hospital. Born on October 20, 1923 in Mission to W.J. (Bill) and Dorothy Windebank, she spent most of her life here. She was fairly well known for working in the store and solving plumbing problems. She was also well known at St. Andrews United Church playing organ and singing in the Choir. Her other interests were with the Mission Historical Society and the Museum. She is predeceased by her sister Dorothy, and brother Gordon. She will be sadly missed by her other sister Christine, and nieces and nephews Lee (Lucy) Windebank, Mark Windebank, Tamra (Jeff) Smith-Wasal, Candy (Craig) Smith Niccolson, Bruce (Karen) Smith, Karen (Barry) Windebank Funk, Sheila (Ben) Windebank Lazarus, as well as 8 great nieces, 2 great-nephews, and 4 great great nephews.
There will be a Memorial Service for Muriel on August 10, 2014 at 2:00 pm at St. Andrew's United Church at 7756 Grand St., Mission BC.
