October 22, 1936 - July 29, 2022
With sadness, the family of Myra Christine Christopherson announce that she passed away peacefully on the 29th July 2022 at her home in Mission, aged 85 years.
She was born on the 22nd of October 1936, in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Myra is survived by her daughter Capri and son-in-law Peter, son Kurt and daughter-in-law Jutta, granddaughter Lindsay, Lindsay's children Elise and Adam, her grandsons Philip and Alexander, her daughter in-law Shirley, her granddaughter Capri, her step-grandchildren Shannon, Shawn, Robbie, Kevin and Myles, and her best friend Jazz, a Standard Poodle.
She was predeceased by her husband Stan in 2005; her son Darryl in 2016; and her step grandsons Clayton in 2013 and Ryan in 2019. Myra was a vivacious and elegant mother, who was an adventurous traveler (unlike her husband Stan) and enjoyed numerous other pursuits such as belly dancing, yoga, knitting, sewing, quilting, watching tennis, gardening and especially playing scrabble.
She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to any reputable Yoga Foundation.
