WOOD - Nellie Mildred. June 2, 1914 ~ May 21, 2011. Passed away peacefully at age 96 to be with her Lord and Saviour. She is lovingly remembered by John, her husband of 68 years, and her children: Gavin (Audrey), Garry (Joan), Earl (Vernita), Grace (Doug), David (Rose) and Helen, her 8 grandsons and 6 great grandchildren, sister Bertha Bailey, brothers George (Margaret) and Gerald (Shirley) Cole and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Turchen and the dedicated nurses, doctors and other care givers at ARHCC for their gentle care of Mom and kindness shown to us, as well. A Memorial Service will be held at Abbotsford Church of the Nazarene on Friday, June 3, at 2:00 pm. Memorial gifts can be made to Abbotsford Church of the Nazarene NMI.
