Nels Edwin, born January 29, 1920, died April 3, 2006. Nels was born in Maloy, Alberta and passed in Vancouver, BC. He is survived by his loving partner and companion Pat Lovegrove, his daughter Virginia (Bill); Nels (Dawn); Terry (Doug); Ken (Nora); Peter (Sue) and Roy. His stepchildren, Laurie, Jackie, Neva, David, Vickie and Gen. Nels will be missed by many including his sisters Mable Hunt, Mary (Allan) Oakman, Doreen (Gordon) Dallas and brother Erick (Kris) Borglund. His wonderful grandchildren Troy, Krysta, Aaron, Marc, Andre, Justin, Kali, Christopher, Blair, Tymm, Tabb, Mireya, Shannon, Ken, Christa and Hayden. Also survived by some very special great grandchildren Madison, Tyler, Kylie, Shayla and little Pebbles. He leaves also, a large extended family and many dear friends. Predeceased by his Âparents Nels and Margaret (1975 and 1995 respectively); his son, Dennis (1960); his wife, Violet (1987).
A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held on April 8, 2006 at 1:00 pm at First Memorial Funeral Services Chapel, 27555 - 31 Avenue, Aldergrove, B.C.
