Norman Howard Edwards

April 10, 2020

August 7, 1931 - April 10, 2020
It is with great sadness we had to say goodbye to our Dad. He is now reunited with his loving wife Anita and son Monty. We take comfort in knowing they are all together.
He leaves behind his sister Betty- Lue Boersma, children Vicki (Dave), Mike (Teresa), Gail, Betty-Lue (Mike), Penny, Pam, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and one nephew who held a special place in his heart Ray Wilson. Dad was born in Mission hospital and grew up on the homestead in Hatzic, where he also passed away surrounded by his loving family.
If you ever had the pleasure of meeting Norm he was the kind of man that made an impression. Be it one of his many stories or memorable sayings. Dad worked for many years on the mighty Fraser River and surrounding waters and in logging camps. One of the jobs he was most proud of was being a part of building the Mission Bridge. Dad took great pride in his gardens over the years and always grew and abundance to share with family and friends. After dad retired, he and mom had a little hobby farm and raised many cows and chickens. He always kept himself busy. Dad will also be missed dearly by his loyal companion Bobbicat.
We are unable to have a Celebration of Life at this time, but will in the future.
