April 2, 1944 - December 31, 2020
With great sadness Peter's family announces his passing on December 31st at the age of 76. Peter fought a valiant war with cancer and was of strong mind right till the end.
He is survived by his loving wife Kathryn of 52 years, his two daughters; Anastasia (Mike) and Leah, grandchildren; Ciara, Noah, Elias, Peter, Sofia great grandchildren; Cooper, Oliver, Olivia, brother Stratos (Mache), numerous nieces and nephews from Vancouver to Greece.
Peter was born in Xanthi, Greece, then ventured to Vancouver in 1964 where he had a successful career with Yellow Cabs. He then settled in Mission in 1980 with his family and established Pete's Place Pizza. Then the infamous Kapestros where he is still king of Moussaka!!
You will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing "Pete The Greek". OPA
