July 23, 1919 - January 7, 2016
We are saddened to announce the passing of Phyllis Blythe (nee Sherwood) on January 7th, 2016. Phyllis passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 96. Predeceased by her sister Irene, brothers Bill and Freddy, and son Dale (1989). Survived by her sister Vi Zucchiatti of Thunder Bay, son David Blythe (Paulette) of Vancouver, daughter Dawn Stackhouse (nee Blythe) of Mission, grandchildren Solo (Shaun), Kindle, Richard (Shannon), Jeffrey, Graham and Jonathan. Phyllis was the epitome of kindness, goodness, compassion and selflessness. A warm, generous, gentle person who adored her family and who was a wonderful friend to many. The family would like to thank Dr. Nemanishen, and all those who cared for Phyllis at her home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday,
