May 27, 2020
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Phyllis Cooke (Fraser) (nee Litke) on May 27, 2020 at the age of 77.
Phyllis will be greatly missed by her husband and best friend Richard Cooke. Phyllis will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Lisa Fraser and Angela Webster (Doug); stepsons Mason Cooke (Catherine) and Gavin Cooke (Jenna); grandchildren Jessica Webster, Jacob Webster, Cameron Cooke, Natalie Cooke and Kingston Cooke; and nieces and nephew. She is predeceased by granddaughter Carly Fraser.
Though it was not her chosen career, Phyllis was a talented artist. She painted, sculpted, sketched, did needlepoint, made teddy bears and much more. Her home, and many of her family members homes, have many pieces of her beautiful artwork proudly displayed. What she also loved dearly was working in her yard and garden. This was her happy place where she would spend hours tending to her many flowers and plants.
Phyllis will be sadly missed by her family and friends. A Celebration of Life for Phyllis will be held at a later date.
