EAGLESTONE Phyllis Irene. April 05, 1918, May 14, 2012. With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Mom. Predeceased by our Dad Leonard Arthur. Lovingly remembered by her children; Carol Rose, Barry (Sheila) Eaglestone, Diane (Elgin) Reid; best friend Maureen Konkin; 5 Grand children, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. After living many years on Goodlad St in Burnaby, Mom moved to Carriage Lane in Abbotsford to become a prominent volunteer at their Rec Centre. Mom firmly believed in supporting the community by knitting countless baby touques and also collecting and delivering food to the food bank. Her loves: traveling (especially to Hawaii), Bingo and card games with family and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at 1:00pm at Diane's home.
