BARLOW, PHYLLIS IRENE

It is with a deep sense of loss that the family of Phyllis Barlow announce her peaceful passing in Mission, BC her home since retiring with her husband in April of 1970. She was predeceased in 1986 by her husband of 51 years, Leveson Lawton Barlow. "Mrs. B", as she was affectionately known, will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Trudi Barlow (Paul Taylor) of Saskatoon, SK; her granddaughter, Susan Knight (Jon) of Kona Hawaii; grandson, Allan Francis (Marguerite Laquinte Francis, great-granddaughters, Gabrielle and Natalie) of North Vancouver; brother Val Vaillancourt (Shirley) of Chilliwack, BC; brother-in-law's wife, Anna Barlow of Airdrie, AB; and her sister-in-law's husband, Ken Powell of Drumheller, AB. She is also survived by seven nieces, nephews and their families and many dear friends. Her kindness and sense of humour will be remembered by many. Her independence admired in memory. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held atWoodlawn Mission Funeral Home, 7386 Horne Street, Mission, BC on Friday, August 15, 2008 at 2:00 p.m., with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Mission Memorial Hospital or the Humane Society would be appreciated.
