Robert (Bob) Charles Seymour passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his family on Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at the age of 90 years, in Normanna Rest Home. Bob was born in Rosetown, Saskatchewan April 23, 1918 and moved to Meadow Lake where he met and then married Irene Todd in 1939. He moved his family to Mission, BC in September 1951, spending most of his working career commuting from Mission to New Westminster where he worked as a Steam Engineer at the BC Penitentiary.

Bob was a loving and devoted father who owned a hobby / horse farm in Dewdney where he and his family enjoyed the country life for many years. Bob loved dancing, camping and R.V'ing throughout Canada and the U.S. with his family and friends.

He has sadly left behind his children Robert (Dianna), Penny (Gary) and Cheryl (Barry); his seven grandchildren Darren (Karen), Shelley (Luke), Tracy (Brent), Michael (Kim), Ryan, Kevin and Brent; eight great-grandchildren and many dear friends. He joins his beloved wife Thelma (Irene) who passed away in 2004 and their son Rodney who passed away in 1967. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Mission Funeral Home, 7386 Horne St., Mission with a reception to follow. A private interment service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations in Robert's memory to the B.C. Cancer Society.
