Ronald Walter Lindsay

January 17, 1945 - January 19, 2023
Ronald Walter Lindsay was born on January 17th, 1945 and passed peacefully in his home on January 19th, 2023 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by his wife Sharon in 2019. He is survived by his daughter Cheryl (Trace), daughter Ronda, son Rob (Nellie), 7 grandchildren and many other loving family members.
Ron spent most of his life on Vancouver Island and with his wife Sharon, moved to Abbotsford for their retirement. Many fond memories of Ron are found in the bowling alley, where he loved to bowl with his team and wife. He was a passionate drummer earlier in life and had a renewed love for the art once he retired.
Ron found joy in supporting his granddaughters in their units with Girl Guides by purchasing cookies and helping with other fundraising efforts. Ron will be greatly missed and is leaving behind a community bettered by his presence in it.
To honour Ron's life, we will be hosting a celebration of life at Sands Funeral Home, 1 Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo, B.C. on Saturday, March 4th, at 1:00 p.m.
