DEANS, Roy Allan. Passed away peacefully at the age of 72 at Kootenay Lake Hospital on April 17, 2013, with family by his side. He was a true woodsman & long time resident of Mission & Powell River, BC, & most recently resided in Winlaw, BC. He will be forever missed by his wife of 52 years, Joan, daughter Maureen (Rick) of Fort McMurray, AB, son Marvin (Liz) of Powell River, BC, grandchildren Cory, Stephanie, Derick & Bobbi-Lynn, brother George (Deanna), sisters Mary (Colin), Loreen (Steve), Marlene (Bruce) & Nicole, & many nieces & nephews. He will be laid to rest with his son, Kenny, brother, Rod & parents, Ed & Bell at Hatzic Cemetery. He will be truly missed by his family & friends.
A memorial tea was held in Winlaw, BC on April 21, 2013 and a celebration of life will be held at the Ukrainian Hall in Mission on Sat., May 4, 2013.
