SCOTT, Sharon Lynn, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 22, 2010, at Abbotsford Regional Hospital, at the age of 57 years.
Predeceased by her parents, Jack and Dorothy Siemens, Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Ron; her dear companions, "Fergie" her retriever and "Chance", her cat. She leaves her siblings, Jim, Rick, Bob, Carol and Bonnie, as well as their extended families. Sharon was a long-time employee of the City of Abbotsford, having begun her career with the District of Matsqui in 1990. She served as Executive Assistant to the last four mayors, as well as a term in Parks and Recreation, where she served many families in Cemetery Service as well. She was well liked and respected by the funeral directors in the Fraser Valley. Her cheerful disposition and bubbly personality will be missed by all whose lives she touched. Sharon's family wish to express their sincere gratitude to the First Responders, Emergency and ICU staff, all of whom fought a valiant battle to save her. You will always be remembered.

A gathering, to celebrate Sharon's life, will be held from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 1, 2010, at the Kiwanis Sports Legacy Building, at Abbotsford Exhibition Park, Trethewey St. at Haida Drive.
