Shelley Anne Ruley passed away peacefully at home in Mission on May 24, 2006 at the age of 53. She was predeceased by her parents, Dr. Gordon Humes and his wife Evelyn. Shelley will be lovingly remembered by her husband Gordon, her children Shannon (Erik), Rachel (Nathan), Tiffany, Michael, Carmen, Shevaughn and Sammy, and numerous extended family and friends. A lifelong resident of Mission, Shelley was a true giver, a nurse, a devoted mother, a volunteer and a wonderful foster-parent.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2006 at 3:00 pm at Cedar Valley Mennonite Church, 32840 Janzen Ave., Mission. For those desiring, donations may be made in Shelley's honour to the Canadian Cancer Society.
