Born January 12th 1947 in York, England
Died August 20h, 2021 after a two year battle with Cancer.
Predeceased by parents, son Graham Coates 1991, Sister Beryl, step brothers Jack & Jim.
Survived by wife Barbara of 56 yrs. daughter Angela(John) grand-daughters Elizabeth & Andrea. Family in England, Europe, Australia & Canada & many friends.
Emigrated to Canada in 1969 with Wife & 2 children.
He worked as a Meat Inspector for Federal Government for 35 yrs. He coached & refereed soccer in North Vancouver & Mission for many years. He volunteered for 30 years with Mission Special Olympics and took teams to Shanghai and Los Angeles for world games.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
