Susan Sara (nee Isaak)
Born April 2, 1928 in Demaine, SK, Susan went to be with her Lord and Saviour on January 5, 2014.
Susan was the oldest child of Peter and Nettie Isaak. She married George Bartsch on December 29, 1955. George was well-known in the community as the owner of Bartsch Jewellers. Susan faithfully served at home and as a business partner with George.
Predeceased by her husband George, her parents, and her brothers Jake and John, Susan is survived by her sisters Elsie, Helen, and Carol, and her brothers Peter and Don. She is also survived by her children Ken (April), Lynette, Joanne (Trever), Randal (Alaine), and Cris (Lori), as well as her grandchildren Aaron (Carly), Silas, Dania (Andrew), Kenia, Madison, Amore, Lilliana, Isla, and 2 great-grandsons Lucas and Iain.
The burial will take place on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Maclure Mennonite Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at Central Heights Church, 1661 McCallum Road, Abbotsford, at 3:00 pm.
Viewing will be on Sunday, January 12 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, from 7:30-9:00 pm.
