It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Sue, beloved daughter, sister and aunt, passed away suddenly in Abbotsford Regional Hospital on November 23, 2017.
Left to grieve are her mother, Marlene Leaney, brother Doug and sister-in-law, Agnieszka, her nieces, Nan and Zosia, Ebony and Ashley, John Hagan along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Sue was predeceased by her father, Ken Leaney.
Sue was born in Langley, spent her childhood and most of her adult life in the area. She worked as a Care-Aid at Langley Lodge for over 30 years.
Challenges to her health forced her to retire in 2013. She moved to Mission where she became part of a close knit community that embraced her.
Sue was a kind and caring person with a love for people and animals. She made many good friends in her short life and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
A celebration of Sue's life will be held early in the new year.
