BORG Sylvia Margaret
Sylvia passed away on October 10, 2008 at Abbotsford, BC at the age of 82 years. She was born in Aldershot, England on January 12th, 1926. She is survived by her brother, Jim Garrad, Essex, England, three children, Brian (Delora), Gary (Dianne), Leah (Peter), eight grandchildren , 8 great grand- children and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sylvia came to Canada as a war bride in July 1946 and resided in the Matsqui, Abbotsford area until her passing. Her last few years were spent at Tabor Home in Clearbrook where she received excellent care from the nurses and staff until she succumbed to the effects of a long term ailment. She died peacefully and will be missed by all.
Memorial Service to be held in the chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 27555 - 31st Ave., Aldergrove at 11:00 am, Thursday, October 16th, 2008. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tabor Home Society, 31944 Sunrise Crescent, Abbotsford, BC, V2T 1N5.
