Thelma passed away at the age of 90 on April 10th, 2016 at Squamish General Hospital surrounded by family members. Predeceased by husband Duncan and brother Lawrence Lee. Missed by step daughters, Laurie (Bill) Green and Nancy (Orin) Jonat; Grandchildren, Leia, Ryan, Erin, Barry, Cory and Brittany; Nephew Kevin Lee; Nieces, Nora Lee, Heather Crosby and Vivian Martin. Thelma was raised in Great Falls, Manitoba and later graduated from the University of Manitoba. She lived the majority of her life in Abbotsford where she was actively involved with the Weavers Guild.
The family extends its gratitude to the dedicated and compassionate doctors and staff at Squamish General Hospital who made Thelma comfortable during her last days. Friends are invited to join family for a celebration of Thelma's life on Sat. May 21, 11:00 AM at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 33911 Hazelwood Ave., Abbotsford, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations made to a charity of your choice in Thelma's memory would be appreciated.
