Thomas Robert Watson on Thursday, November 9, 2017, passed away at his apartment in Pleasant View Seniors Home in Mission, British Columbia.

Bob was born on September 12, 1938 in Barrie, Ontario. He joined the RCAF in 1956 and served as CF-100 fighter plane mechanic in Germany.

Upon returning home, he married Lois Potts of Collingwood in 1962.

Bob is survived by his ex-wife Lois McSorley of Orillia, son Stephen Robert and wife Sarah and granddaughters Dana Marie and Adalyn Mae of Barrie, son Dale Brent and wife Michelle and granddaughters Chloe and Olivia of Squamish, British Columbia, his sister Mimi Watson Sutherland and partner Joey Glickman of Miami, Florida and brother Barry Allan Watson and wife Andrea, and nephews Scott and Ian, wife Shelley, and great nephews Parker and Levi.

The family more than appreciates the support and friendship over many years in Mission of Hans Weiskoph, the manager at Pleasant View, and Walter Michaluk and Richard Bernard.

The family will hold a memorial service for Bob in Barrie in the summer to recognize his lifelong challenges and the battles he won to overcome them.

May he rest in peace knowing he is loved by many.
