Walter Langdon-Davies passed away August 9 in Abbotsford. He is survived by his wife Anne; children David, Barbara, and Terry; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. An accomplished intellect, artist, musician and carpenter-handyman, Walter served the community in countless ways, including the original Abbotsford village council, the school and hospital boards, and the Canadian Navy. Distribution designer for BC Hydro from 1930 to retirement in 1983, Walter planned the paths of power lines throughout southwest BC “I have walked every inch of the highway from Port Mann to Lytton.” A man of too many talents and legacies to list, Walter enriched the lives of all he met. He will be sorely missed. No services or donations at his request. An informal memorial at his home to be held at a later date.
