CASSIDY, Wilfred
Mr. Wilfred Cassidy late of Abbotsford, BC went to be with the Lord on November 13, 2009 at the age of 81 at Abbotsford Regional Hospital. He is survived by: his beloved wife Phylis of 57 years who will always hold the memories of their life adventure as special and rare. He will also be lovingly remembered by his children: Gary, Glen (Cindy), Garth and Gail, his grandchildren: Jackie (Jeff) Simard, Angela, Jordan, Sherry, Jasmine, Christina Olsen, Dan, Sarah, Sam, Niki, Connor, Tonii, Tyra, his great-grandchildren: Matthew, Letitia, Jocelyn, Brayden, Logan, Liam, Justin, Kaleb. Wilfred was born in Saskatoon and married Phylis, the love of his life in 1952 and settled in the Abbotsford area in 1988. Wilfred, an avid sports fan, golfer, wood worker and especially family man will be sadly missed. Wilfred also enjoyed giving others the gift of a well looked after flower garden. A celebration of Wilfred's life will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 11:00 am at Henderson's Fraser Valley Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, BC with Pastor Brian Booth officiating.
