Sep 14, 1983 - Apr 26, 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Browne on April 26, 2018. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Auguste and Margaret Browne, his sisters, Elizabeth (Mark) and Grace; his grandfather, William Browne, his grandparents, Peter and Betty Warmerdam and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandmother Louise Browne.

William was raised on the family dairy farm in Deroche, BC. He enjoyed school, hockey, skiing, dirt biking, horseback riding and being a back catcher. He loved his friends, family and God. He was a delight.

William was a man who loved to work hard and do a job well. He did many jobs; construction, masonry, but his favourite was block-piling at the mill. He took such pride in doing this physically strenuous job well.

William had a contemplative mind, full of deep perspective. He was an intelligent and kind man with an unassuming nature.

He enjoyed a good conversation and was interested and learned on many subjects. He noticed beauty in creation and in people.

William was a music buff and loved a good movie. He had an exceptional, wonderful sense of humour and his laughter was contagious. His tenacity and perserverance throughout his life was impressive.

William loved his family so much and he was so very loved. He was a gift to us. Now you are free from suffering, William. Rest in Peace.

Prayers will be held on Thursday, May 3 at 6:30 pm at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 32550 7th Ave, Mission, BC. And Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 4, 2018
