Oct 15, 1922 - Jan 25, 2018
We are sad to announce that Bill passed away, peacefully, on January 25th, 2018, at the age of 95.  He will be loved forever and missed by his wife, Janet, his children, Carlyne Pratt (Steve), Ginny Rozells (Noel), William H. Pratt II (Nancy), and Richard Pratt (Sunni), his step-children, Debbie Morden, Paul Morden (Mirella) and Wesley Morden, (Ali), many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bill was predeceased by his parents, William and Elizabeth Pratt, his son, Robert Pratt, his first wife, Mildred Pratt, and his sister, Marie Hunter.

Bill was always a hard worker and a master "fixer" of anything mechanical.  He was an inspiration to his family to work hard and to overcome any obstacle. He was kind and thoughtful and had a great sense of humour. He was an avid reader and golfer. He worried about all of us being safe all the time, and even through his last years with Dementia, he always cautioned us to be careful driving, make sure we had enough gas, dressed warmly enough, and insisted that we call to let him know when we had reached our destination.  His passing reminds us all of the importance of family.  In times of crisis, family holds us together.

The family extends their gratitude to all the staff at Mission Memorial Hospital and especially Christine Morrison Hospice who made Bill's last days peaceful and comfortable.  We would also like to express much appreciation to Dr. Andrew Johnson for taking care of Bill for the past 24 years, with love and compassion, above and beyond the call of duty. "Your problem, Bill, may be just too many birthdays."

Finally, his wife wishes to thank her extraordinary extended family for their support and assistance through these trying times.

The family will have a private celebration at a later date.
