William Francis Porter, born December 20, 1930 and called into the presence of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on July 15, 2008.
Eldest son of the late William Benjamin Porter and Martha Therese (Schall) Porter. First grandson of William Porter and Kate (Russell) Porter and of Robert Frederick Schall and Caroline Wilhelmina (Schmidt) Schall.
William was a graduate of U.B.C. – BSA 1953, and had planned to do post graduate studies in soil micro-biology. William was in charge of the high producing Holstein herd where he built on, and re-enforced the marvelous bloodline of Carnation Inka Lao and Carnation Governor.
His hobbies included gardening, natural history, genealogy and Old and New Testament Bible study.
He is survived by many friends and associates world wide.
At William’s request there was no funeral service. A private interment took place at Musselwhite Cemetery on Wednesday, July 23, 2008.
