SANDELL, Zona Marie
May 17, 1953 - July 26, 2008
We are deeply sorrowed by the passing of our beloved wife, mother, "nana", daughter and sister. She was received into the arms of our Lord on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 9:42 am. She was "Mom" or "Sis" to all that crossed her threshold and all were received by her open arms. Her radiant smile was second only to her compassionate heart, courageous spirit and famous words of wisdom. Her granddaughter, Jena, summed it up well when she wrote, "I am sad that you are leaving to the next world but I am happy you will be with God." Zona leaves behind her husband Toivo, her children Seidi (Scott), Nik, Toni, and Donny (Sharol), her grandchildren Jena, Matti, Cameron and Izabella. She is also survived by her father Gordy and her brothers and sisters: Judy, Harley (May), Robbin and Ken (Dana).
