Commitment questioned

Councillor who aimed for BC Liberal nomination should resign council seat

Editor, The Record:

I would like to offer my condolences to Mission Councillor Tony Luck on losing the BC Liberal Party nomination for the Abbotsford-Mission riding in next May’s provincial election.

That said, if after barely one year he is ready to abandon his elected council position, I sincerely question his commitment and interest in our community.

Realistically he should resign his council seat so Mission can replace him with someone interested in the job.
