Great work, Mission

MSS' class of 1964 celebrates the success of the current crop of high school athletes

Editor, The Record:

I’ve read recently about how Mission Secondary School’s teams had won varsity titles in football and boys basketball in the same school year.

The article mentioned that the basketball title was last won by Mission Senior Secondary in 1954! On behalf of the class of 1964, I would like to extend to all of you our most heartfelt congratulations!

Special accolades must also go out to the coaches who recognized that continuing in their volunteer role in spite of the labour dispute between BCTF and the government ensured the teams had the opportunity to play to their capacity.

Way to go, everyone!
