LETTER: Adjusted tax increase still too high

Taxpayer’s pockets are only so deep and my pockets are almost empty

So the great council of Mission have dropped the tax hike from 4.99 per cent to 4.39 per cent.

Should we be grateful for this huge decline?

I don’t think so because the taxpayer’s pockets are only so deep and my pockets are almost empty. I voted for Pam Alexis last time, but if Ken Herar runs for Mayor in the next election, he will have my vote along with others I’ve talked to.
