LETTER: Folk festival just as good the second time around

We came in from our home in Vancouver and had such an incredible time – as last year.

This year was our family’s second year at the Mission Folk Music Festival.

It was a rainy weekend, and the attendance was certainly lower than last year. However the music, energy and community was at least as amazing as it was last year!

We came in from our home in Vancouver and had such an incredible time – as last year.

We found that not only did the rain not detract from the wonderful cultural experience, but in some ways it actually enhanced it!

People were in closer quarters, sharing more of their experiences with one another and with the artists from around the globe.

Thank you, Mission, and all the folks who make this happen.

We can’t wait for next year, no matter the weather.
