I’m a mother of three children attending West Heights Community School. I need to express my anger and outrage at the way people are disrespecting and abusing the building and grounds of our school.
For days I have been picking up shards of glass spread throughout the school yard. Whether the glass is from vandals smashing windows or throwing bottles, I’m sick and tired of having to worry about my child’s safety at their own school.
We have to dodge speeders on the road on our walk to school, avoid being cut by glass, and look at boarded windows.
I don’t understand what is wrong with people. How can anyone put children at risk?
There are some completely daft and ignorant people out there, who prove nothing through their actions but their own stupidity.
