Polygon is proposing to build 266 townhouses and compact houses in a rural forested area near Nelson Street.
This is the wrong place for compact development. I’m in favor of a well-planned compact development.
I’m asking the council to follow their guiding principles from the Official Community Plan and favour the development of higher densities around downtown and the waterfront.
It does not make sense to take rural land in the suburb of Mission to built townhouses.
