Editor, The Record:
Further to your survey on snow removal, I would like to bring attention to the lack of clearing in front of community mailboxes.
I think it is disgraceful that seniors have to navigate through a foot of wet snow to retrieve their mail as is the case on Moffat Avenue, opposite Hatzic Secondary School. Plowing the street only makes it worse and then it all gets churned up with car traffic.
Considering the amount of taxes we pay, I think we deserve better.
