The Abbotsford Canucks continue to fill out staff positions and recently posted a job opening for Communications and Team Services Manager.

The employment opportunity was posted on July 27.

The position summary states that the person in the role will manage team logistics and be the go-to person for team media relations.

He or she will also coordinate team practice and travel schedules, travel with the team to coordinate road game on-site logistics, schedule player appearances with community relations staff and perform several other duties related to the team.

The listed required experience includes five to eight years of administrative experience, work experience in the AHL or NHL and/or knowledge of professional hockey, be a multitasker, have good communication skills and the flexibility to work long hours.

The Communications and Team Services Manager will report to the Abbotsford Canucks COO Rob Mullowney, who was named to his position on July 19.
