Atom hockey squads battle it out in Mission tournament

Mission Minor Hockey Association hosted the annual Jim Veitch Memorial Atom C Tournament on the weekend.

Sixteen teams, including three from Mission, battled it out at the Mission Leisure Centre.

None of the Mission entries made it to the finals.

Mission C1 lost 3-0 to Mission C2 in the consolation round. Mission C2 then advanced to the semifinals, but lost 7-3 to Surrey. Mission C3 lost 6-2 to Kamloops in the consolation round.
