Ceder Kings lacrosse squad falls

Mission loses 10-6 to top-ranked Adanacs

The Mission Cedar Kings came up short against the Coquitlam Adanacs on Saturday.

Mission fell 10-6 to the undefeated Adanacs to fall to two wins and two losses in West Central Senior C Lacrosse League regular-season action.

The Cedar Kings got goals from Cody Thompson (two), Brenton Graham, John Makowsky, Gavan Sand and Owen Munro.

Mission sits tied for fourth in the league after Saturday’s result, and next take on the winless Langley Warriors on Friday.

The game is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. on Friday.

The Cedar Kings then host the Port Moody Express at the Mission Leisure Centre for their first home game of the year on May 13 at 2 p.m. It’s the first-ever home game in franchise history for the club.
