A narrow double-overtime loss Tuesday night gave the Abbotsford Pilots a 3-2 series lead over the Mission Icebreakers. The junior B first round playoff series has been showcasing the power and skill of the Mission team, with most games so far being close affairs.“It’s been a really good series for us. At five-on-five hockey, I think we’re a better hockey club,” said Icebreakers’ coach Craig Sherbaty. On Monday night, Sherbaty said the team simply didn’t generate enough shots and “lost a battle behind the net that we shouldn’t have.”The local team is back home tonight (March 3) at the Mission Leisure Centre. Puck drops at 8 p.m.
