The Vancouver Giants are hosting a pyjama party next Tuesday, Dec. 5 when they take on the Portland Winterhawks at the Langley Events Centre.

That night, the Giants will be hosting a pyjama drive — fans are encouraged to bring new ‘PJs’ which will be donated to the Langley Christmas Bureau for teenagers and children this holiday season.

Fans are also encouraged to wear their pyjamas to the game, as well.

Giants senior vice president Dale Saip said the Western Hockey League team experimented with a pyjama drive on a smaller scale last season, but decided to kick it up a notch when promoting the event this year.

“It’s a worthwhile project and it’s received really great recognition and great response,” Saip said.

Tickets for Giants/Winterhawks game are available at the LEC box office before and during game day or online at www.vancouvergiants.com.
