The Bantam 9 Mission Niners team tamed the Burnaby Lions Saturday afternoon, 48-13, at Heritage Park Secondary School field.
The Niners’ running game outclassed the Lions defense, with Bryce Fillion sprinting for four touchdowns, and snagging a pass from Wade Carpenter for an additional 75-yard TD, giving Fillion a 500-yard day.
Carpenter also connected with Peter Kulba for touchdowns, while the defense of Zack and Dayton Robertson laid out the Lions offensive players.
