Hello, Henrik!

Young hockey fan meets NHL stars Daniel and Henrik Sedin in Agassiz during announcement of new foundation

A young hockey fan meets Vancouver Canuck Henrick Sedin during a pickup game of ball hockey in the brand new gymnasium in Agassiz.

The Sedins launched their new Sedin Family Foundation on Saturday, with two public events in Agassiz.

They donated $50,000 for an elementary school playground, and $40,000 for gym equipment in the new District of Kent Community Recreation and Cultural Centre. The gym will open later this fall, and it was the first chance for the public to step inside the new facility.
