Joshua Bazell, from Smithers, took first place in his individual judo competition being the only competitor in his class.

Judo's Male-81 class, Reid Williams, from Smithers, took the gold, taking down opponents Curtis Eidridge (taking silver) and James Fischer (bronze) on Saturday at Albert McMahon Elementary. Medals will be presented at the following school at 2:45pm.
