Phoenix Velo Cycling Club members win golds and silvers in 36-kilometre time trial.

Members of Mission’s Phoenix Velo Cycling Club had a successful showing at the BC Masters 36-km time trial event, held earlier this month in Sumas, taking three medals.

Sally Johnson finished as the overall fastest female, and her daughter Mary took the gold medal in the junior event. Mission resident Geoff Oram rode to a silver medal in the 65-to-69 age group, while Bill Blonski and Jamie Johnson rounded out the Phoenix contingent.
