Some of the best local disc golfers are returning to Mission on March 3.

The seventh annual Mission Possible event is set to take over the Fraser River Heritage Park for a full day of action.

Mission Possible is the sixth part of the Duck Golf tour and is presented by both British Columbia Disc Sports and the Fraser Valley Disc Golf Club.

Registration for the event began online on Feb. 6 for the C-Tier event, and the field is completely filled.

The 36-hole event sees a maximum of 72 players hit the course. All ages are eligible to compete, and divisions include novice, recreational, intermediate, advanced, masters and open. The advanced masters division has the most competitors, with 14 signed up.

Sign-in begins at 8 a.m. on the day of the event, with a players meeting scheduled for 8:45 a.m. The first round tees off at 9 a.m., with the second round getting underway at 1 p.m. after lunch. An awards ceremony then occurs at 4:30 p.m.
