Over 130 skaters from across the province will hit the ice at the Leisure Centre this weekend for the annual Mission Racers Interclub Meet.
Every year, the club hosts the meet on the day of the time change. The Mission Racers have been holding meets in the area since 1972.
The club is expecting its biggest meet yet with skaters ranging from six-year-olds to adults. The meet will feature new skaters competing for the first time, as well as more experienced skaters who have competed nationally.
Competition will kick off at approximately 8 a.m. and will finish until races are complete, around 4 p.m.
Admission is free for spectators, and the Racers encourage the community to come out and support the event.
