Mission Rampage bring home the gold

Peewee hockey squad went 7-0 at the Nanaimo Kick Start Ice Hockey Tournament

The Mission Rampage were as good as gold in Nanaimo earlier this month.

The Peewee hockey squad (age 10-12) represented the Mission Minor Hockey Association at the Nanaimo Kick Start Ice Hockey Tournament during the Thanksgiving long weekend and finished with a perfect 7-0 record to claim the gold medal.

The undefeated Rampage averaged more than seven goals a game, while averaging less than two goals against.

The local squad capped of the tournament with a 7-0 victory in the final versus the South Delta Bulldogs.
