A pair of Mission soccer teams will battle for Alouette Cup glory in Maple Ridge on Sunday.

The Mission Hornets U13 boys team is the first local club to play for the honour, as they open against the West Coast Football Club Spurs from Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge at 2 p.m.

The Mission Lightning U15 boys then take on West Coast at 4 p.m.

Both games occur at Westview Turf in Maple Ridge.

The winning teams from those games will then represent the Alouette district (made up of Mission Soccer Club, West Coast FC Auto Group from Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows and Albion FC) at the Coastal “B” Cup competition, which begins in late March.
